Chia Seed & Almond Bites

So you may have heard about the No Sugar craze at the moment, well these are just perfect as they contain no added sugar just one banana !

They are great to pop in your hand bags, school lunch boxes or just to be enjoyed with a cup of ( Herbal tea)

You will need:

  • 1 cup gluten free oats ( blend to a flour)
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 tbsp seeds( any)
  • 1 Banana mashed
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds( soaked in 150 ml almond milk for at least 10 minutes)
  • Coconut oil for greasing

Soak the chia seeds in the almond milk for 10 minutes and preheat the oven to 180, grease and line baking tray with parchment paper and coconut oil.

In a bowl mash the banana, then add the ground oats, almond butter , seeds and the chia seed mix. Stir well, then take 1 tbsp of the mixture and place in the tray. Gently press down and repeat with the remaining mix.

Bake for 15-18 minutes.
